This weekend Kyle and I had a great time going to Chicago and going to the Jackopierce concert.
We left Saturday and checked into one of my favorite hotels, The Embassy Suites. After relaxing for a moment we went out to dinner to a fun little restaurant and then headed to the concert. It is really fun to see these guys in concert cause they are really talented and have good songs. Kyle grabbed two seats that were right in front center so it was cool to be up close and personal. We bought a little onesie for our little girl to wear that has the Jackopierce logo on it, it was so cute. Sunday we slept in and then ate a really good breakfast. We then walked up and down Michigan Ave., which is also called the Magnificent Mile, where all the fancy and fun shops are. Going into Tiffany's and seeing all the lovely jewelry was fun. We really enjoyed the weekend and just being together since we figure there won't be too many more where it's just the two of us.

how fun! i'm so jealous. you should definitely enjoy those weekends away and sleeping in. that never happens after the kid comes!

How was the weather? Dan and I went there for our anniversary 2 years ago in Feb and we froze! It was still fun though!

Wow, what a great getaway. I hear Chicago's awesome. I really want to go someday. It's great your taking advantage of the time just the two of you. Enjoy it!
So fun!! I am totally jealous. Chicago sounds fun. We need to make it there too. Great to do before the little girl comes!!! It definetly won't happen as much after.
