Out and Back

Evelyn and I have been out for a while and now we are back. This past weekend our travels took us to Georgia to visit the Koester family. We sure had a great time and enjoyed being there with Grandma and Grandpa K. Evelyn had a bit of a cold during the weekend but she seemed to handle it well. On Friday we went with Grandma K to her school and Evelyn got to meet all her students and fellow teachers, it took her a little to warm up but I think she enjoyed the visit and all the attention. Afterwards Grandma K took Evelyn to the store and bought her some beautiful Easter dresses and I can't wait for her to wear them. I'm so glad we got to have another fun girls trip together. Here Evelyn is sitting in her daddy's old rocking chair. She really loved rocking back and forth in it.
Evelyn had fun playing with her Aunt Amy and playing with Uncle Kurtis and Uncle Daniel.
Evelyn and little Teddy had a good time getting to know each other, that is when there was some separation.
Evelyn just couldn't leave before cleaning out the cupboards and playing with the tupperware.
Well this was the end of our travels till we leave for California in about 4 weeks for the summer!

Traveling Buddies

This past week Evelyn and I had a fun time traveling together out to California. It was so great to go and visit with my family for about 6 days, I just love my visits back home. As usual she did great on the plane rides, since she has been on a plane almost every other month since she's been born. Of course my first stop on the way home from the airport was Del Taco, I mean it really doesn't get any better than that. I think I ate it about 3 times while I was there and even brought some back for Kyle. I am really looking forward to going back in about a month for the summer and enjoying all the delicious food Los Angeles has to offer. Our trip consisted of a lot of relaxation and play time with cousins. It was also great to be there to celebrate my grandma's 91st birthday, she really is such a special woman. I actually enjoyed the fact that I could go outside and just get hot by the warmth of the sun on my back. Evelyn was having a good time showing off how she can crawl and get all around, she's even taken 2 steps by herself. Oh but our travels don't end here coming up this weekend, Evelyn and I are headed to Georgia to see more aunts and uncles and Grandma and Grandpa Koester, we can't wait!
Here she is with cousins Olivia, Chloe and Juliet. The older girls love their two little cousins.
Aunt Brittany came into town as well from Utah and Evelyn loved being with her and looks forward to spending the summer together.
All the cousins enjoying a lesson from Grandma.
Evelyn and Chloe just can't get enough of eachother. They love to stare, poke eachother and steal one another's pacifier's.
Evelyn sure loves her Grandma and had a good time in the sink and while there, left a little "treat" for Grandma to clean up! Thanks for the fun trip family we love you and miss you all.

A Day I've been waiting for!

Finally a day I have been waiting for. It was so nice and beautiful outside today so Evelyn and I headed out. I got out her stroller from the garage that was covered in dust since it hasn't been used since October and took a walk. Evelyn, just as I, loves to be outside and go for walks. She loves to sit there and look at everything. It is a great way to calm her down and make her happy. I also love to be outside and enjoy some fresh air, it just makes me feel good to see and feel the sunshine. I hope there a more days like this to come.
