Evelyn at One Week!

Wow I can't believe it has been a whole week now with little Evelyn in our lives. She is so sweet and cute. It is defenitely hard work and something you really can't prepare yourself for but it's great. I am so thankful to have my family around right now so willing to help and do whatever they can to make things easier for me. I do enjoy picking out her outfits to wear each day though we never really go anywhere to show them off, but I know she likes to look good anyway. Her first doctors appointment went really well and she is right on track with weight and good health. She takes after me in that she really likes to sleep so I only have to get up once during the middle of the night to feed her. Here are some pictures I took to document her one week of life.

Evelyn Marie Koester!!!

Before After

Well our darling little Evelyn finally arrived. We are so excited and blessed to have this healthy little baby in our lives now. She came at 8:06pm on Sunday, May 18. We arrived at the hospital 7am that morning and had a long day ahead of us, but boy am I glad it's done and we are finally home. Kyle was a great support and always there when I needed him. I know sleeping on the couch in the room with me wasn't the most comfortable but I sure appreciated his help. It was nice to have my family there and friends come by to visit, I know my life really won't ever be the same but I look forward to it. Here are a few picks and I will update soon!

Jumping on the Trampoline

I am just a little over a week until my due date and I can't tell you how long the past couple of weeks have been. I mean I think the month of May has been the longest month of my life and it is only the 9th. I am really hoping I don't have to wait until the 20th, but since I am anticipating it so much my little girl will probably stay in there as long as she can. Yesterday my doctor told me I was about 2cm, I was hoping for at least 4 or 5cm. My parents live on the top of a hill so I have been walking up and down it as much as I can, but it is just getting more and more uncomfortable. Every time I go down hill I feel like I am going to fall forward and that would be really embarrassing. Today I even attempted to go and jump on my parents trampoline and see if that would work, but my sister told me to get off cause she didn't want to have to deliver me right there.
Kyle has been keeping himself busy with doing law work by day and sales by night, I mean the guy just won't take a break. It is fun to see how excited he is for the baby to come, I know he will be such a good dad. I enjoy keeping up with everyone's blogs and seems everyone is doing well and staying very busy. As soon as anything happens I will let you all know, for the mean time I think I will go back out on the trampoline!
