Evelyn's Point of View

Evelyn got a hold of my camera and starting shooting. I think she took a picture of about every square inch in the house, so here are a FEW of her pictures, literally just a few.

Okay, this was her idea but I had to push the button.

Backyard Fun

We have been truly enjoying summer and all the activities that come with it. We are outside a lot, looking at bugs, picking flowers, using our sidewalk chalk, washing our little tikes car over and over and having fun with the hose.

A few photos of our lovely backyard.

Thanks for sharing your ice cream Ellouise, but you can have it.
Evelyn spraying her cousins. They were enjoying it at first, but then it was too much.

Oh how I love this time of year and the simple pleasures that come with it.

Disneyland!

For the third and finally 4th Birthday activity we took Evelyn to Disneyland and California Adventure Park. We were really excited to take her knowing she really had no idea what to expect. It was so much fun being with her and seeing the excitement and imagination through her. She really loved going on all the rides, seeing all the neat attractions and characters.
Her absolute favorite was the "Little Mermaid" ride. We went on it literally 8 times, good thing there was no line. Another favorite was the "Little Nemo Submarine" ride. It was really cool they way they created that ride.
Here we are in Mickey's car and exploring Minnie's house.

Silly expressions from the both of them.

Kyle and Evelyn had fun on the tea cups. Ellouise and I decided to sit that one out, I wanted to be able to enjoy the rest of the day.
The girls and the Princess castle. Evelyn really wanted to some how go inside the castle, but unfortunately that's not possible. Finished the day off with our Mickey Mouse ears. I am so glad we as a family went and had so much fun together at Disneyland, there are many fun memories from that trip.

Strawberry Shortcake!

So the second part of Evelyn's birthday was her Party!! She was so excited and even more excited to finally have her Strawberry Shortcake cake and balloons. She had been asking for them for at least a month in advance, as of today, June 19, those balloons are still floating around in her room. Lucky for her, she has a wonderful Grandma K who made sure she got it.

Everybody gathered sang her a song and she blew out the candles!

I really can't believe how big and grown up this little girl is getting. We just love her so so so much and have so much fun with her and her fun-spirited personality.
Ellouise just chillin in the car.

Happy Birthday to a 4 year old!

It's another birthday and I can't believe my little Evelyn is already 4 years old. She is such a special little girl and I can't explain how much we just love and adore her. She is so fun, always on the go, entertaining, can be very dramatic, and a great big sister.
Evelyn split up her birthday and celebrated it for a span of 3 days. Here's a post of the first day. We woke her up by singing Happy Birthday to her which she hid herself for a moment but then was loving the attention. Ellouise was very excited to be in on it. She opened some wonderful presents for us, G&G Koester and G&G Patterson. She was so excited to get the unicorn she had been asking for, some sparkly shoes and darling outfit to go with them.

For her choice of activity that day she wanted to go to Malibu Beach and eat at "her" favorite restaurant Neptune's Net. It just so happens that is our favorite place to eat too. It was a perfect day at the beach and we had so much fun playing together.
Ellouise was having fun watching the waves.
 Daddy daughter moment.

It was an awesome day with an awesome girl and I think she is happy to be 4 years old.
