California Love!

 So this week is the big one, we're moving!! I really can't believe it, never really thought we'd be leaving California once we came back, Kyle and I love it here, but life is taking us on an adventure to Atlanta, Georgia. Here are just a few of the things I will really be missing, that Georgia will have a hard time filling in for. 

 These are the best women, friends and sisters a girl could ask for. I love them so much and am having a hard time knowing I will be so far away from them. They truly are my best friends.

 Now these two special people will be really hard to leave from. These are the best parents ever. I love them so much, and don't know what I'm going to do without them.

 Besides awesome sisters, I have been so blessed with some pretty awesome brothers. They are fun to hang out with, chat with and are super fun uncles to my girls.

 My girls are surely going to miss their best friends. Chloe and Evelyn are quite the pair, they're sisters, best friends, and cousins. They have their ups and downs but I just don't know what I'm going to do when Evelyn wants a play date with Chloe. They are just so cute.

Ellouise also has her best friends she will miss. Annie and Brody and Ellouise have become such a cute little group of three. They love being together and taking care of one another.

 I'm sure going to miss another one of my best friends. Kate and I have become really close and have a lot of fun together. Oh girl, can you just come with me?

 Did I mention how much I'm going to miss these wonderful parents and grandparents?

 One of our favorite food places. I'm going to miss that fish and shrimp.

 Really going to miss year round swim weather at grandmas.

 My favorite temple that I love to visit.

 And of course the beautiful beach. I have loved this place since I can remember. It brings peace to me just to sit and watch the waves, listen to the birds and feel the warm sand on my feet. I played here year round, studied for class here, got engaged here and helped my girls build sandcastles here. Really do I have to go????
There is just so much I am going to miss, I know there is a plan for our family and it's one of those things I may not understand now, but sometime in the future will recognize the reasons for this decision. So for now hand me the tissue box and California just know I love you the most, always will call you home and don't go anywhere cause we just may want to come back.

Pre-K Has Begun!

 Evelyn started Pre-K and she was so excited to go. me too. She loved going to her class and being with her friends and learning. I am so proud of her, but just a little sad to see how big she is getting.

 Of course Ellouise had to get in on the pictures.

Precious Moments

 Just one of those rare moments you have to capture, because trust me this sort of moment when this girl actually falls asleep in dad or moms arms is rare but oh so precious.

 The girls had fun at cousin Zach's 8th birthday party. They played laser tag and both Evelyn and Ellouise were getting into it. I love watching my kids have fun and get into things even if they have no idea what they are doing.

 Even at close range these two kept missing each other.

Ventura Harbor

 It's been hot lately on an everyday basis, so what do we do when we need to get out of the heat, we load up the car and go to the beach. Ventura was our destination and we had a great time together.

 Evelyn loved seeing the boats and kept telling me we needed to get one. I would agree with that.

 Ellouise always so sweet.

 You can never go wrong stopping into an ice cream parlor. It's even better when they have my personal favorite, Rainbow Sherbert.

 I love the win-win situations for me and the kids, getting the beach and the park at the same time.

Ahhh the beach, I really could spend every moment of everyday at this place.

Summer Play Group

 We had our final play group pool and beach day for the summer. It was so fun hanging with all these good friends and Evelyn loved all the kids as well. As usual my mom hosted the final pool day and there was a great turn out and I think the kids all had a good time.

 I have loved going to the beach this summer with everyone and though summer is over beach trips aren't quite over for me yet.

 Evelyn and Ellouise loved going to the beach as well. Here Evelyn is with two of her best friends, Chloe and Gwen, they always have a fun time together.

Grandma K Comes for a Visit!

The girls got a special treat last week, Grandma Koester came to visit. Evelyn was very excited to go to the airport to pick her up and show her how well she cleaned her room just for her. Evelyn was very adamant that she sleep in her room with Grandma, so we made her a special bed on the floor and she loved being in there with her. We were able to have a lot of fun and quality time together. We enjoyed the park and getting dirty.

 Had fun singing primary songs and telling stories with each other.

 We also had fun going to the Wildlife Learning Center together and watching the animals.

It was so nice for my girls to have a fun time with their Grandma K, thanks for coming and visiting with us!
