Good Friends = Good Times

I really had a great time this weekend. Thanks to my good friends here in Lansing I had a wonderful baby shower. Saturdays and kids can make ones schedule very busy so I do appreciate all that came out and want to say I missed those who couldn't make it. It was so fun, with good food and games and really cute decorations. Thanks Amberly for putting that all together for me, it really means a lot. I just can't wait to actually use the cute clothes and toys I received.

Late Saturday night Kyle took a break from the Library, where he now resides, and we went to see the movie 21. It was pretty cool and enjoyable to hang out with him, but my feet and legs got so swollen from sitting through the movie, not sure how much longer I can do that. I am just really wanting these next 6 to 7 weeks to go by fast. Well for those who want to see my belly here is an updated picture at the end of 32 weeks.

7 Interesting Facts

Well my friend Melanie tagged me to write 7 interesting facts about myself, so here it goes.

1. I have only broken one bone in my body, which was my middle finger when I was in 1st or 2nd grade from falling off our stair banister.

2. Last 4th of July I came in 2nd place for my age group in the 5k race.

3. I was able to have a one of a kind tour of the White House that no other public "everyday" person is able to get and go through secret passages that the President takes underground to go from building to building, it was like I got the regular tour plus the behind the scenes show.

4. I love to snow ski and have been doing it since I was 5 years old, so nobody better get in my way when I come flying down the mountain.

5. I have traveled to 10 different countries

6. I want to have 5 kids

7. When I first met Kyle I told my brother Dylan to become friends with him so I could get the hook-up and flirt with my brothers friend, since I thought he was so good looking.

Back to gray skies and pot holed roads

Oh how lovely it is to be back in the state of Michigan after spending time in California. Well it is nice to see my husband again, sleep in my own bed and see my good friends, but that warm sunshine really made me hesitant on coming back. It was so fun to spend time with my family, everyone was in town so we had the chance to catch up and eat lots of food. I think I went to Del Taco 3 times in the 5 days I was there, I really just can't get enough. I am not really looking forward to my flight back again to L.A. in a month since that 5 hour flight time really was not fun and was very uncomfortable. I didn't realize how much my legs and feet could swell. I am disappointed with Delta, cause they have done away with their snack pack, so all I had to eat during my 6 hour trip was cheese crackers, if I wanted anything else it would cost me. It seems a little ridiculous to me. Well tomorrow is my 2 months left mark and I am so excited and can't wait for these months to go by, even though I know they will probably go slow since I am anticipating it so much.

One Week till Vacation!!!

Yeah, in exactly one week I will be flying to sunny California to spend the weekend with my family. I am really looking forward to a little get-a-way and to take time out of the cold. All my cousins will be in town since we will be celebrating my grandma's 90th birthday, so it will be fun to see all of them. I have planned to take a full suitcase of stuff to leave at my parents house so then I can bring more stuff when I go back again in April. I really don't know how I will get everything back to Michigan at the end of the summer. I have realized I only have a few more Sundays with my primary kids and I am really going to miss them. They definitely keep Kyle and I entertained during church, and I will really miss all their crazy, not sure if they're true, stories. I am looking forward to this semester coming to a close cause this research and writing class Kyle has been taking is one big headache. It has been fun though with all these girls expecting and having baby showers cause I love shopping for baby clothes. They are just too cute and I love watching the girls open their gifts and get so excited. Like I've said before I just have to try and contain myself when I walk into Babies r Us and not go totally crazy.

Belly Update

Wow, it's seems like it has been a while since I last blogged, well here I am. Some members of my family have been asking me to post a picture of myself so they can see what my belly looks like, so here it is at 28 weeks. I can't believe that the weeks are getting closer to my due date I really can't wait. I am having to get copies of all of my records from the past six months and get them ready to send to my new doctor in California who will be delivering my baby. On March 14th I will be in California and will go meet with my new doctor for the first time, hopefully it all goes well. Lucky for me though I have a sister who is a doctor and has recommended me to this new doctor so I feel I can trust her judgment. March is going to be a busy month for I will be traveling back and forth from California and I need to organize my house while we are gone during the summer and get it all ready for the Misseldines who will be living in our place during that time. I also need to figure out what to pack and what not to pack for 4 months since I will be going home for good at the beginning of April. I think I will have to take all my clothes cause I have no idea which ones will and will not fit, then again maybe I'll just buy a new wardrobe. I am glad I will be here for the other dozens of girls who are having babies so I can at least see them for a little while before we part. Kyle and I will sit at times and just think wow I can't believe we are going to be parents soon, I don't think it will really hit us until we hear the cries of our baby at 2:00am and every other hour after that. But we really are excited and are excited to be close to family for those first few months.

A Day of Making Crafts!

I am hopeful that I just finished that last name board I have to make. Well I made a few boards like the ones from the Relief Society Craft day for family at Christmas. My sister-in-laws friend really liked hers so she asked me to make her one. I thought no problem, so I went to Alyson's made the board and sent it off. Well about a week later I received a phone call telling me that I spelled the last name wrong on the board. That was really frustrating. So thanks Alyson for letting me come over again and make my last and final one.
While at Alyson's I got to see all the very cute binki holders, bows and headbands she has been making since the day she found out she was having a girl. Since it has been about 6 months in the making of these cute accessories I think her little girl will have a different one to wear for the first full year of her life. Don't worry Alyson, I'm just teasing you!
Well my in-laws are on their way here for the weekend, I love having guests but I better get cleaning and organize all my junk. So you will all have to meet Kyle's parents at church on Sunday, they are a lot of fun to hang with.

Another Full Weekend

It was another fun and full weekend. Saturday I had Alyson's baby shower at my house and that was so fun. A lot of girls came and Alyson opened up some really cute baby girl outfits, it really got me anxious for my own little girl. I just can't wait for her to come. It is always fun to have the girls over and eat yummy food. After putting my feet up for a while Kyle came home from studying religiously at the library and we went out. We had good tasting food from Johnny Rockets and then went and watched the movie, Bucket List. It was actually pretty good.
I love Sundays because I get to sleep in and take my time getting dressed for church. It was another fun filled day teaching our primary class, they are definitely full of energy each week. Sunday night like many others we had a large group of people over for a Superbowl party. We had a good time and once again enjoyed eating not so healthy but delicious snacks. I am glad to see through other blogs that so many others had fun parties as well. It is fun to get together with good friends. Check you all later!
