Weekend Getaway!

This weekend Kyle and I had a great time going to Chicago and going to the Jackopierce concert. We left Saturday and checked into one of my favorite hotels, The Embassy Suites. After relaxing for a moment we went out to dinner to a fun little restaurant and then headed to the concert. It is really fun to see these guys in concert cause they are really talented and have good songs. Kyle grabbed two seats that were right in front center so it was cool to be up close and personal. We bought a little onesie for our little girl to wear that has the Jackopierce logo on it, it was so cute. Sunday we slept in and then ate a really good breakfast. We then walked up and down Michigan Ave., which is also called the Magnificent Mile, where all the fancy and fun shops are. Going into Tiffany's and seeing all the lovely jewelry was fun. We really enjoyed the weekend and just being together since we figure there won't be too many more where it's just the two of us.

Second Ultrasound Confirmed

Well I had my second ultrasound today to better my 85% chance my baby is a girl, and it was. The nurse told me that it looks like a girl still, so I guess I can put my worries away and focus on my little sweetie. From all my past tests and blood sampling everything looks normal so that is good news to me. I can't wait to go shopping and find some fun stuff to fill her room up with, I just can't wait to be a mom and finally have someone to bring to playgroup with me, but it is nice just to chill and chat with the ladies. Well peace out, time to eat something!

Another Awesome Christmas Vacation!

Well it's been quite the past few weeks, Kyle and I have been very busy traveling coast to coast. We started our Christmas with a trip for just the two of us in Park City, Utah. It was so pretty and fun. Our hotel was right on the side of the mountains and it was so amazingly pretty. I love being up in the mountains with the fresh air. On Friday Kyle went snowboarding with my brother and sister while I went and got a wonderful mommy-to-be massage. I really wish I could have been out on the snow but I couldn't take that risk. The next day we did some good shopping and eating and then it was off to Los Angeles, CA, finally!
It was so nice and felt so good to be back in California. I really do miss that place, who wouldn't miss perfect weather, awesome food, good shopping and the beach. My family is great and I love visiting with them whenever I get the chance. Christmas morning was fun being together and opening gifts.

After Christmas the girls went out and had a pampering day getting our nails and toes done.

Well unfortunately we had to leave California but we were excited to now fly back to Georgia and visit with Kyle's family. They are all really fun and we always have a good time hanging out. It was also fun since we got to open up more Christmas gifts. New Year's was fun we went to a movie and watched Juno and then went to Kyle's sister's house, watched the ball drop and then watched a dare devil jump the length of a football field on his motorbike. Well now we are back in lovely Michigan with our lovely friends who we did miss hangin out with.

Good News!!!

Well we went to the doctors today and we received an 85% chance that we are having a little baby GIRL!!! They gave us that percentage because the baby was being so modest that she was covering up her little parts with her foot. They said looking from behind and in between her legs it did not look like a boy so they guessed a girl. They will do another ultrasound on Jan. 17 to recheck but they were pretty sure. It was so neat to see the whole baby and how much it has grown, we have a really cute picture of her hand as she was totally waving to us. She was definitely moving around a lot and it was so incredible. Well we are getting ready to leave for our Christmas vacation and hope you all have a Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas Season, my favorite!!!

These past couple of weeks I have had to remind myself that I still have a husband since I have not seen him very much as he diligently studies for finals coming up. I can't wait till they are over so he's not so stressed and that means we leave for Christmas vacation. This really is my favorite time of year, I love winter and the Christmas season. I put all my decorations up and love how all the lights look. I think it would be cool just to leave the lights up all year round. I am counting down the days till the 17th when we hopefully find out if we are having a boy or girl!! The only problem with counting down is it makes time go by really slowly so I try not to think about it too much. There are only 11 days left!
